New and Current Members Meeting on November 21, 2015 11:00 AM Followed by an Open House

Khandroling Paper Cooperative will hold a new and current member’s meeting on November 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM  followed by an open house (1:00 PM) in our new space at Tsegyalgar East, 18 Schoolhouse Road, Conway, MA. Please RSVP to Jacqueline.gens@gmail.com


If you are interested in any aspect of papermaking or art that uses paper, please consider joining as a member-- At present we operate entirely on donations. The only obligation is to participate with enthusiasm in ways that suit your particular interests and talents.  Your artistic support is most welcome.

  • Asian and Western style papermaking with a variety of custom moulds up to 4 x 7 feet
  • Custom made pulp from rags and plant fibers

  • Non-toxic printmaking with our NEW etching press

  • Papercutting
  • Gilding
  • Calligraphy for Mantra
  • Handmade Books
  • Homemade inks and colorants for dying

A few things on our wish list:

--A small energy efficient fridge to store pulp  
--Rotary cutters & blades  to prepare cotton rags 
--Washed*100% cotton rag sorted by color and cut into postage size pieces (if you have the time)  
--4 Large plywood boards (approximately 28" x  25.5 “ for wet pressing newly formed paper

*washed in water only to remove detergent/soap/fabric softeners
